Hi, I’m Vanessa Glau, writer and translator working in video game localisation in Tokyo. After getting a degree in Japanese Studies and learning the language for 10+ years, I’m determined to enjoy my life in Japan to the fullest and take you along in my stories and essays.

My interests include modern as well as traditional Japanese culture, literature, history, and more. I practice tea ceremony in the Urasenke tradition.
