It's getting a bit fresh in our respective locations so it will be a bit hard to picture the heat on Arrakis. But I'm excited about doing this together!
We should! In fact I had Sangria at an Italian restaurant last week which made me think of Glühwein (of course, the Sangria was chilled though). For this, I might have to buy a bottle of red & chuck in some fruits & spice myself.
That's a great idea! Though I wonder if they already installed the Xmas markets in Vienna since it's still quite hot for this time of the year. We can always have a melange at cafe central.
They are great! It's just a stereotype because you mostly see old ladies eating them. But in 2000-2004 it was different, I must say. Different clientele.
Looking forward to seeing this happen, Vanessa. Thanks for jumping on board when Claudia Noted it! Great to have you as part of the collaboration.
4 weeks! Woot. This is going to be a wild ride! Like the biggest Shai-Hulud kind of ride! Indeed, The Spice Must Flow.

I can handle the heat aspect over in Australia ;)
(Having said that, I'll be in England for Christmas this year, so some of my reading time will be in the dark and cold.)
Karma catching up for rubbing your Australian sunshine in our faces!
We should do a Gluehwein (spiced wine) infused session once to counter the harsh climate, makes it easier to imagine hot stuff! 😅

Maybe some hot Sake instead? 😀

They always set up around the middle-end of November, if I remember correctly. Either way, there will be spice!
Wasn't it in the second week of November? I need to get out of the house! 😅
Possibly. I only remember that I always thought: What, now? This is way too early...
Exactly! And I also remember that if it's still sunny and warm enough to sit in the Shanigarten, all the Xmas markets are empty. 🫠
Ahhh, I must visit Vienna again soon. Also... Trzesniewski! Mmmm. Lecker!
Yes, let me know if you do! The tiny breads for old ladies? I'll even join you there! 🤣
How dare you! 😂 I am not old! Errr... I gobbled those up whenever we had them, when I was living in Vienna (2000-2004).
