Requiem of the Moth Index
Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Moths, And More!
Welcome to my serial REQUIEM OF THE MOTH! This story is being published in semi-regular installments here on Occam’s Lab.
What is Requiem of the Moth?
It is political intrigue with a dash of romance in an underground city as a recently appointed clan intelligence official and a moth catcher commoner have to pair up to get what they want—unlimited power for the former, protection and patronage for the latter and his family.
How much is there to read? What is the current status?

Do I need to start from the beginning to know what’s going on?
No need! If you are curious, jump into the current season with this first chapter! I provide frequent summaries to keep new readers up to date.
Of course, if you wish to start from the beginning, you are welcome to! I would love to read about your impressions as you go in the comments.
Table of Contents
Season 1
"The Stormcloak Hawk Moth produces that dust and flings it from its wings to defend itself."
"Does that mean it's…"
"Venomous."
Grunting, Yun half staggers back the way they came from. Usira catches him. "Where do you think you're going?"
Wrath, pure wrath, burns in Yun’s orange eyes. "To Kandamsin. If I can't take care of all the people I want punished, I'll at least wring Vy's neck."
Season 2
Vy wasn't lying. She didn't send the assassin, after all. Shuddering, Yun gestures for Zhiven to lock and bar the door. His would-be murderer still walks free.
Ghost Connections (backstory spin-off)
Season 3
“Allow me to reforge the bond between our two families, between us.” Yun slides the amethyst ring from his finger and offers it behind his right sleeve—shaded from all eyes and so all the more blessed by the Deep. “Allow me to offer this ring as a token, to express my wish to never cut this bond again in my lifetime.”
